View the current firmware version on a Xenta controller using the RS-232 cable

While it is the best practice to match all of the firmware versions in your controllers, this is a quick and easy way to view the current version installed on your hardware. 


  1. Connect the RS-232 programming cable to your controller and your PC
  2. Open TAC Tools 5.1.X
  3. Open Download Wizard
  4. Click next
  5. Click the information button located directly above the help button
