IO module status shows 'Bootloader'

The most likely cause is a failed upgrade process.

During an upgrade, the IO module's firmware is deleted allowing it to be replaced with the new firmware if the process fails before completion the module will be left without the application and in bootloader mode.


Upgrade the firmware

  • Right click the module and select 'Update io module firmware'
  • Navigate the the appropriate IO firmware file and select it to complete the upgrade.
  • The operation takes less than a minute, module should show status 'Online' if upgraded sucessfully.
