Lockdown Access in Access Expert Version 2

Issue

Gaining access to doors that are in Lockdown Mode

Product Line

Environment

  • Access Expert
  • Win 8.1 and above
  • SQl 2012 R2
  • SQL 2014

Cause

When doors are in this mode, access cannot be granted to anyone without special privileges

Resolution

To resolve this issue, the following steps need to be followed:

  1. Create a Door Group called Lockdown
  2. Go to Sys Settings and select this for Lockdown Option
  3. Create a new trigger per the screen shot and save
  4. Reboot the system for it to take effect and test the procedure.
